Our team, has recently adopted new members! We will continue to highlight our team members in future posts but today we want to recognize a very special member of our group. Everyone meet:
Michelle Wagner
Where is your hometown?
Richmond, VA
What is your role on the team?
Coordinating parts of our National Night Out involvement, working with the Zumba program outreach at the Robinson Theater, responding to data analysis needs of the Robinson Theater
How did you get involved with the team?
I got involved with the team through the Inner City/Rural Preceptorship program at VCU School of Medicine. I attended the Data-Palooza event with Dr. Prom-Wormley as part of that program, and I have been working with the Department of Health and Dr. Prom-Wormley on initiatives that came out of that event since then.
What is one thing you would like to accomplish this summer?
I would love to learn more about the subsidized housing communities in the East End and have a rudimentary understanding of running statistical analysis.
How do you like to unwind after a long or difficult day?
I love yoga! And sitting on my porch chatting with my neighbors watching the sunset over Chimborazo Park.
